Source Code Transparency
PDA-i operates on a "viewable but not copyable" model:
Why Source is Viewable
- Security Transparency: Users can verify our encryption implementations (AES-256-GCM)
- Privacy Audits: Users can confirm zero-tracking claims in web version
- Trust Building: No obfuscation or hidden functionality
- Educational: Users can learn from architectural patterns
Viewing ≠ License to Copy
While the source code is viewable for transparency, this does NOT constitute:
- An open source license (NOT MIT, GPL, Apache, etc.)
- Permission to copy or redistribute
- Permission to create derivative works
- Permission to use in commercial projects
- A waiver of copyright protection
Analogy: You can view art in a museum, but you cannot take it home or sell copies. The same principle applies here.
